Ben Dullroy is a leader with more than 23 years of experience spanning business performance improvement, operational management, program and project management, and strategic planning. He is also the Managing Editor of OpOz, bringing his leadership experience and strategic perspective to the platform’s editorial direction and development.
Ben had his first experience of leadership at just 21, when he took command of 21 soldiers. He describes the year that followed as one of the most rewarding of his life, giving him an early opportunity to understand his strengths and weaknesses as a leader and laying the foundations for the career that followed.
Throughout his career, Ben has worked within complex organisations, managing multiple stakeholders and operating in demanding and, at times, extreme environments. Whether the job has taken him to Brisbane or Baghdad, his focus has remained firmly on delivery.
Alongside getting the job done, Ben has a strong interest in the bigger picture. He thrives in strategic roles that require him to look beyond immediate priorities, explore new ideas and identify opportunities to contribute more broadly to his profession and the wider contest of ideas.
